The gravel-based, 32.7 km Otorongo-Cerro Pucara Road, situated in the southern department of Chuquisaca and constructed some 70 years ago, is in poor condition and suitable only for travel during the dry season. The project will therefore:
- reconstruct, widen and re-align the road to improve travel efficiency and safety; and
- construction or rehabilitation of drainage culverts and channels to prevent flooding;
