This project aims at improving the living standards of the rural population in the Oti River Plain boost food security. Works will include: developing around 775 hectares of irrigated land and make 1,000 hectares of rainfed land accessible constructing a fish farm constructung access roads and agricultural support facilities, as well as social infrastructure, such as schools, health centers, markets and water wells providing agricultural machinery and tools to cooperatives and training and financial assistance to farmers Around 10,000 people across 14 villages and settlements are expected to benefit from the project.
