To provide potable water supplies to around 43,000 people living in Orkesumet City and neighboring villages, thereby raising living standards and improving health indicators, as well as easing the burden of fetching water. The project will therefore carry out the following works:
- construction and/or installation of water intakes, pumping stations, transmission and distribution lines, storage tanks, water treatment plants and other water-related infrastructure;
- construction of public water points, kiosks and livestock troughs;
- installation of around 1,500 household connections; and
- consultancy services.
