The project aims at improving socio-economic conditions in the arid north-central province of Namentenga, inhabited by some 138,000 people. The multi-faceted scheme will carry out works that range from the restoration and cultivation of land, and construction of feed storage areas and veterinary facilities, to the drilling of wells and building of health centers, schools and roads.
