Under this project, the heavily-used, 132-km gravel-surfaced Mutukula-Kagoma road running from the Lake Victoria region on the Ugandan border in the North to the southerly-located town of Kagome will be widened and upgraded to bitumen standard. Drains, culverts, bridges and retaining walls will also be rehabilitated.
