To rehabilitate a road that traverses key agricultural areas, thereby improving the transport of produce and inputs, as well as links to social services for some one million people. Works will include:

  • rehabilitation of a 70 km inter-urban road to a modern paved road.
  • rehabilitation of 20 km of feeder roads; three primary schools; a health center; and one market in outlying towns; and
  • consultancy services.
The project will help reducing transportation cost, thereby facilitating access of agricultural products to the main commercialization centers. It will also improve the living conditions of the population by facilitating access to basic social services.
