Land Mine Clearance of Agricultural Land in Southern Lebanon

The overall purpose of this project is to support Lebanese national development priorities and recovery of the Lebanese economy through making the socio-economic use of approximately 750.000 m² ERW (Land mines and Explosive Remnants) of War contaminated land possible.The envisaged activities are: releasing land, improving the living conditions of mine/ERW victims and capacity development. This project will have a direct impact on the population living in the high priority areas targeted for clearance based on the Lebanon Mine Action Center tasking priorities.
