The project's aim of increasing agricultural production in the Niafunke and Goundam regions will be achieved through improving water utilization from the lake and ponds of Danga, Fati and Tagadji, establishing irrigated perimetres of 30 ha each through a water pumping system and establishing irrigated perimetres of 3 ha each through the provision of small mobile pumps.
