Knitting Plant Project in the Occupied Territories of Palestine

The cost of the project totaled US$1.3 million, cofinanced by the Arab Fund and the Islamic Development Bank. The OPEC Fund’s grant partially financed the Knitting Plant Project. The Society entered into agreements with two contractors for excavation works, and for preparation of the final factory designs and tender documents, and for supervision implementation. A third contract was signed in July 1988 for civil works. The final report indicated that the project was completed successfully.
