Joint CAF - OPEC Fund Technical Assistance Facility

The proposed project involves the creation of a Technical Assistance facility, in partnership with the CAF, to provide funding for eligible activities for public and private sector counter-parties in common countries of operation. The proposed initial size of the facility is expected to be at US$2.00 million, to be funded by an equal contribution from the OPEC Fund and CAF. For each transaction financed under this facility, the costs will be shared with CAF through at least equal contribution from its own resources and/or additional funding from third parties (trust funds managed by CAF).
