This project will construct and equip a biomedical department at the University Institute of Science of Technology in the city of Abéché to help mitigate the country’s shortage of biomedical professionals. The facilities are expected to accommodate around 600 additional students per year. The project is expected to significantly improve Chad’s health indicators, and thus help boost the country’s socioeconomic development.
