The project aimed at fostering strategic research for the integration of Legume Cover Crops (LCCs) into the farming system for improving and maintaining soil fertility in the Eastern Africa region. The project was implemented by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT’s) specialized African Network for Soil Biology and Fertility (AfNet).
