This loan helped finance the Honduran Social Investment Fund II (HSIF II), which built and rehabilitated social infrastructure such as health centers, primary schools, public markets, community centers, rural roads and water supply and sewerage systems. Additional plans included providing training and teaching materials for midwives and healthcare workers.
