The first grant of US$204,000 was extended to the Red Crescent Society and Patient's Friends Society, for a project to improve primary health care services at Al-Khalil and neighboring villages. The second grant of US$206,000 was extended to the Patient's Friends Society to develop the existing rural medical health care centers in the Tulkarm area, and to establish a main center in Atill Town, five satellite clinics in the surrounding villages, and a mobile medical unit.
