The Grant will finance upstream analytical, technical, institutional, and partnership-building activities to strengthen the preparation and investment readiness of climate-resilient water and urban resilience initiatives. The Grant aims to accelerate the development of a pipeline of bankable projects; generate decision-grade evidence, datasets, and tools for scalable resilience solutions; support innovative monitoring and verification systems that can enable future results-based and blended finance approaches; and strengthen partnerships with credible institutions while building country and institutional capacity.
