The project aimed at augmenting and securing the water supply to Gabarone to meet the city's water demands and expanding existing water treatment and supply facilities. The project consisted of three major components: (a) raising the Gabarone Dam; (b) expanding treatment and transmission facilities for Gabarone; and (c) consulting services and investigation for the preparation of future extensions and training.
