This program will implement sub-projects that will increase the availability of rural infrastructure such as schools, health centers, roads and water supply and sanitation systems, among others. It is anticipated that the present project will benefit areas that were not covered under earlier phases of the Public Works Program. Small-scale infrastructure improvements will have a positive impact on the living conditions of the poor throughout Yemen's 20 governorates.
