The grant was extended in support of a project aimed at eradicating the OWS, arresting its spread and protecting livestock in the Middle East. Project activities included the provision of chemicals, sprayers and training to the national authorities in the affected region. The Fund’s grant covered the procurement of field vehicles, motorized vehicles and portable dips.
