The project intends to improve the quality and efficiency of primary education in a number of localities across the country. The project consists of the following components:
- construction of new schools for grades six and seven;
- construction of additional classrooms at existing schools;
- provision of equipment for the new schools;
- provision of basic equipment and furniture for some existing boarding schools;
- supplementation of the management capacity of the PIU.
