The grant has been extended to Practical Action in support of the project Energy Access Accelerator in Malawi. The main objectives of this project are to increase access to energy for poor people in Mulanje and contribute to the MDGs for people in the beneficiary communities and to enable replication of the success of the project in other communities in Mulanje through building the capacity of Mulanje Energy Generation Authority as a sustainable and ambitiojs social enterprise.
