Empowerment of Poor Farmers through Legume-based Integrated Soil Fertility Management in Lake Victoria Basin

The overall objectives of the project aimed to improve crop productivity and food security, increased farm incomes, and improved the overall livelihoods of small-scale farmers in western Kenya and northern Tanzania, through the practice of Integrated Soil Fertility Management, where fertilizers and other organic inputs were used to maximize nutrients and crop productivity.
