Emergency Relief for Syrian Internally Displaced Persons

This emergency aid grant supported the winterization project of Islamic Relief and targeted the most vulnerable among the internally displaced persons who fled Aleppo by providing them with winter kits, including blankets, mattresses, plastic sheets and plastic mats. The impact of the project was high as it enabled the provision of essential items to 2,530 families (14,291 individuals). This exceeds the initial targets, owing to savings related to exchange rate of the Turkish Lira.
