The emergency grant in the amount of US$1,000,000 has been extended towards the provision of essential relief supplies and emergency operations to help the victims of the devastating earthquake which struck the south-western province of Sichuan in the People's Republic of China. It was used for the procurement and delivery of tents and hygiene parcels.
