Emergency Aid for Communities affected by Drought in Djibouti

This Emergency Aid was used for the construction of dams, drilling water wells, and building latrines and bathrooms for displaced populations. The project resulted in improved access to drinking water, sanitary facilities and a raised awareness on personal and environmental sanitation and hygiene practices. The project benefitted approximately 7,690 people directly and 46,150 indirectly.
