The loan will co-finance rehabilitation of the 105-km Emali–Oloitokitok road in the southern Rift Valley, close to the Tanzanian border,. This will, in turn, improve connections between the two countries, open up employment opportunities and improve access to social services for some 140,000 inhabitants.
