Focused on repairing/replacing cyclone-damaged schools in the Fianarantsoa, Toliara and Mhajanga provinces, this project will carry out the following:

  • rehabilitation and enlargement of 170 primary schools, 18 lower secondary schools and two lycées;
  • construction of sanitary facilities;
  • construction of wells;
  • replacement of furniture and equipment.
In all, 34,080 school places will be created for primary pupils and 5,760 for secondary school students.
