This project will focus on Bouleman Province in the Middle Atlas Mountain range where, together with local capacity-building, a wide range of activities will be implemented to include, among others:
- construction or rehabilitation of small and medium-scale irrigation schemes;
- soil and water conservation works;
- provision of drinking water supplies;
- intensification and diversification of agricultural production;
- creation of rural financial services and micro-enterprise development schemes;
- promotion of rural tourism;
- provision of assistance to micro-enterprises to help them establish links to marketplaces.
