The project will construct a new hospital in Durres which will complement the rehabilitated maternity and paediatric wards located in the same complex. It has the following components:
- construction of a four-storey 170-bed capacity general medicine and surgery hospital building
- procurement of medical equipment;
- construction of a repair and maintenance workshop for medical equipment;
- project design and supervision;
- project implementation unit;
- technical assistance.
