Doctor Residency Training Program at Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem

The grant has been extended to Al-Makassed Hospital to support its doctor residency training program which has been undertaken by the Hospital since 1988. More than 300 specialists in seven medical fields graduated from this program. Currently, Al-Makassed Hospital is accredited for training doctors in nine medical specialties. Two doctors (neurosurgery and gynaecology and obstetrics) successfully completed a 4-year residency programme, and acquired the relevant professional credentials. Furthermore, both physicians are now working in other hospitals in the West Bank.
