The project aimed at formulation and incorporation of the national renewable energy and energy efficient policy into national energy policy in order to promote economic growth, poverty alleviation and sustainable development in Honduras. The project specifically catalyzed national actions to integrate five major energy sub-sectors into one coherent national energy policy and to help develop clear strategic lines and actions for each component.
