The total project cost was US$480,000, cofinanced by the IsDB and the Welfare Association. The OPEC Fund's grant, administered by the IsDB, was extended in support of the laboratory equipment, furniture and electrical installations component of the blood banks and laboratories sponsored by the Gaza Central Blood Bank Society, the Women's Union Hospital in Nablus, Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem and the Union of Palestinian Medical Relief Commission in Jerusalem.
