The Development Bank of Jamaica is dedicated to
facilitating investment with a view to stimulating
sustainable national economic growth and development.
The rationale for providing the line of
credit is to help create business opportunities for
small and medium-size enterprises in Jamaica.
The financing will allow the Bank to expand as a
financial intermediary by offering an additional
number of loans to approved financial intermediaries
for on-lending to local clients, thus contributing
to the development of the local capital
markets and advancing overall economic development.
