The project aims at promoting sustainable growth in the agricultural sector through increases in food production, diversification in the production of crops and promotion of export crop earnings. The project consists of the following components: Marketing; Agricultural Extension and Applied Research; and Institutional Development. Each component provides for technical assistance, studies and training, civil works, maintenance works, vehicles and equipment, credit and incremental operating costs.
