This project aims at improving travel connections for some 150,000 people in the metropolitan area of Zenica, the country’s most important center for mining and the metallurgy industry, as well as major education and cultural institutions. Works will include:
- construction of a 17.65km-long carriageway, as well as 3.5km of tunnels and two bridges
- construction of five interchanges to enable access to towns and vilages in the project area
- building of rest areas and roadside services
- design and supervisory services
