This project aims at boosting socio-economic development in the capital Dhaka through the construction of an 8.25 km-long multi-level flyover bridge with a ramp connecting the Mouchak and Moghbazar intersections. Modifications will be made the existing pavement under the bridge to improve drainage. Also planned is the construction of pedestrian crossings and overpasses. The bridge is expected to reduce traffic congestion and enable easier, cheaper and safer travel and improve access to income-generating opportunities and social services.
