The project developed and implemented comprehensive education sector responses to HIV/AIDS through the UNAIDS initiative EDUCAIDS, led by UNESCO. The grant proceeds enhanced the evidence base for the development of comprehensive education sector responses to HIV/AIDS in West and Central Africa, scaled-up and improved the implementation of such project through high quality technical support, and developed partnerships for action at global, regional and national levels.
