The main objective of the project is to provide Mali with an airport that meets international standards requirements, and links the country with regional and international markets. OFID's co-funding will help finance completion works on a new passenger terminal and its associated equipment and infrastructure. The project is expected to bring the airport's capacity to 1.5 million passengers per year.
