The goal of this project is to boost agricultural output and improve living standards among some 3,700 small farmers. The Chókwè Irrigation system will be fully rehabilitated, increasing the amount of irrigable land by 10,000 ha. In addition, farmers’ organizations will be established and institutional support provided.
