The main objective of this project, which has two components, was to improve access to efficient cooking stoves in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, and to begin manufacturing them in the later region. Component 2 of the project setup a regional hub for seven Latin American countries for manufacturing and distribution of a type of cookstoves that OFID supported in an earlier project, which was implemented by the same partners. The number of direct beneficiaries in Latin America reached about 208,650 people.
