The project sought to expand the Boulaos Power Station through the addition of two 15 MW diesel generator sets and a 63 kW transformer. Works included:
- installation of diesel generator sets, electrical switch gear and transmission equipment;
- civil works and drainage;
- provision of technical assistance and training; and
- conducting of a study of the power sector.
