The Palestinian NGO Improvement and Development for Communities (IDCO) operates in Gaza and was established in 2004 to contribute to solving the community's challenges related to development, sustainability, food security, health and environment conservation. The grant has been extended to support the project Safeguarding Food Supply through Boosted Agricultural Inputs and Oriented Services. This project benefited about 175 poor farmer families in the rural areas of the Gaza Strip by reclaiming and levelling damaged lands, reinstalling modern irrigation networks, establishing income generting open field crops and organizing training and workshops.
