The grant was extended to the World Food Program in support of a program aimed at supporting the Bolivian Authorities’ initiatives to provide education, nutrition and primary health care services to pre-school children in the rural and semi-rural areas of the country’s poorest provinces. The grant specifically helped rehabilitate a number of rural centers, procure furniture and teaching equipment and contribute towards the cash stipend for volunteer mothers.
