Established in 1994, the Centre is run by a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that has been established to provide health services to Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip with nominal fees or free of charge for the poor. The objectives of the Centre are the development of the health status in Gaza Strip, the provision of specialised medical services free or minimal fees and to increase health awareness among Palestinians.
