The Union of Charitable Societies (UCS) is a non governmental organization that was founded in Jerusalem in 1958. Recently it is the umbrella to more than 209 NGOs, where each organization performs various functions, such as serving a wide range of the community and providing social help to the underprivileged and vulnerable to improve the living conditions of the poor in the occupied Palestinian Territories. The grant was extended to support the Job Creation for the Poor Households to Start Income Generating Projects.
