The Beit Sahour Cooperative Society for Health Welfare was established in 1959 by a group of community people and pioneers with the aim to provide medical treatment and health care at reduced or free of charge fees to poor and marginalized people, specially women and children. The grant has been extended to support the Community Health Education Project. The project improved health conditions, particularly women and children, by creating sustainable change in heath behaviors and practices in the targeted population through systematic and structure health awareness and education program.
