The Al-Bishara is a Palestinian NGO, established in 2000, as a non-profit society with the purpose to manage and implement the Al-Bishara Cooperative Housing Project, an affordable housing initiative led by young Palestinians located in the suburbs of Ramallah. The project comprises of five residential buildings with 30 individual living units for young Palestinians. Each building consists of three floors and a basement for communal use. The grant has been extended to co-finance the establishment of recreation and community facilities for the cooperative housing initiative, with the aim to support improvement of the community socioeconomic welfare through employment creation, development of safe and secure environment, and strengthening community cohesion.
