The Society of Women Graduates in Gaza Strip is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, established in Gaza in 1974. The Society works on developing and empowering the women graduates in Palestine with the objective to foster their capabilities, and create job opportunities for unemployed women graduates. The grant was extended to co-finance a Job Creation Project for Young Women. The project improves the economic conditions for 60 fresh graduate women in two stages. The first covered qualifying the graduates for the employment market through provision of 40 hours of computer training for the International Computer Driving License (ICDL), plus 32 hours of important short courses on time management, report writing, CV writing and preparation for interview, communication skills. The second stage covered the search for employment, job opportunities according to the field of education and complementary training capacities.
