The RFA was established in 2002 in Rafah, Gaza Strip. RFA is focused on projects relating to agriculture production, food security and distribution, income generation, irrigation, and water resources management. The grant was extended to support the Development of Home Gardens Project in Al-Silik area. The objective of the project achieved food security through: (i) the establishment of bio-intensive small scale production units at the household level; and (ii) improving farmers' technical skills on biofood production through training in small scale bio-intensive gardening management.
