The Al-Wosta Medical Center was established in 1994 and is located in Al Maghazi Camp, Gaza Strip, Palestine. Since its establishment Al Wosta has provided health services to more than 5,200 patients each month through emergency interventions, general surgeries, and specialized clinic services such as family medicine, orthopedic, neurology, dental, dermatology, pediatric, medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Al Wosta Medical Center has several departments to support its services including laboratories, x-ray machines, ultrasound, and pharmacy. With OFID's financial assistance a new project involving the construction of new operation theatre as well as provision of various surgical equipments was implemented. The project increased the existing bed capacity from 4 to 5 beds and monthly surgical operations to 30.
