MARWD was established in Deir Al-Balah village in 2002 as a non-governmental and non-political organization. The grant has been extended to support their "Productive hands for rural women in Deir Al-Balah village" project, and aimed at increasing and strengthening rural women by providing them with important skills, such as plumbing, electricity, candle making and first aid among others.
